Div Com chairs 244thHLC meeting

SRINAGAR, MAY 14: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, today chaired the 244th High Level Committee (HLC) meeting of Circular Road Project here.

The meeting took a comprehensive review of the progress of acquisition of land at Haft Chinar IG road and rehabilitation of left-out dislocated shopkeepers of Zarab Khana at Nowhatta.

The Div Com also interacted with the affected whose structures have come under the Circular Road Project on the occasion. He assured them that adequate compensation will be provided to them.

Khan instructed the officers to ensure that there is no discrepancy in allotment of plots and shops and that only bonafide individuals are compensated.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Superintending Engineer R&B, SMC and SDA officers, Deputy Director Planning, affected persons and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
