SRINAGAR, MAY 14: Minister for Higher Education, Information Technology, and Technical Education Imran Raza Ansari today toured Pattan constituency to review the status of various developmental works in the constituency.

The Minister was accompanied by DC Baramulla, SSP Baramulla, Tehsildar Singhpora, Executive Engineers of P.H.E, PDD, R&B, CMO Baramulla, BDO Pattan and other officers.

The Minister visited several areas to get firsthand account of various projects.  He directed the concerned authorities to expedite the projects for the benefit of general public.

Additionally, the Minister also directed P.H.E department to ensure adequate water supply in the constituency and repair defunct water pipes at the earliest. The Minister also issued directions to PDD department for immediate repairing of electric poles and damaged electric lines in the area.

Later, the Minister convened a public Darbar to get first hand appraisal of issues faced by them in different areas of the constituency.

During the meeting, the locals put forth several demands before the Minister. He assured them that their genuine issues would be addressed in a time bound manner.

Responding to various public demands, the Minister instructed the authorities to make Detailed Project Reports of various developmental works in roads, education, healthcare and other sectors, for the immediate approval.
