Pattan: In the ongoing ‘Gold Cup’ being played at Chanderhama Pattan, today first semifinal was played between Sheikh-ul-Alam Cricket Club and Ganderbal Gladiators (GG).  After winning the toss Sheikh-ul-Alam CC  decided to bat first and managed to score 146/9 in 20 overs. Sameer and Waseem were main contributors with 36 and 31 respectively.

In reply, Shareef and Irfan bowled brilliantly in the powerplay by giving away only 36 runs and taking four main wickets of Ganderbal Gladiators. GG lost the match by 47 runs, whereas SCC secured its place in the semis. Nissar of Sheikh-ul-Alam Cricket Club was declared as player of the match for his four wickets.
