WPL: Kandi Lions beat Pattan Elevens by 26 runs

Tarzova: In the ongoing Wular Premier League (WPL)  2018  today’s first match was played between Pattan Elevens Vs Kandi Lion’s. The toss won by KL  who opted to bat first. For KL Umar and ishfaq played a responsible knock. Umar scored 58 runs and Ishfaq 34 runs. Kandi Lion’s posted 175 runs on board.

For Pattan Eleven,  Nasir took 2 wickets and Bashart one.

In Reply, Pattan Eleven fail to chase down the target of 176 in early top order batsman played sensible knock for Pattan Eleven. While chasing the target, Aqib and Bilal made a partnership of 51 runs. Meanwhile, the Kandi Lions bowlers’ strike in the middle overs and destroyed the middle order batting.

Finally, the Kandi Lions won by 26 runs. For Kandi Lions, Umar took 4 wickets Shahid and Ishfaq took 2 wickets each.

Umar was declared man of the match for his all round performance, he score 58 runs and took 4 wickets.
