Service rates fixed for Shri Amaranth Ji Yatries at Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, MAY 09: – In connection with ensuing Shri Amaranth Ji Yatra 2018, the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari convened a meeting of officers at Sonamarg for fixing of services provided by the service providers in terms of rates of Ponies, Laborers, Dandies and Tentage etc.

The meeting was attended by SDM Kangan, ALC Ganderbal, DFO Sindh, CMO Ganderbal, Tehsildar Lar and Gund, SHO Sonamarg and Animal Husbandry Officer Ganderbal. Besides, representatives of labourers, and all stakeholders were also present on the occasion.

The rates for Yatries, from Baltal to Holy Cave and back, for labourers have been fixed as Rs. 2250 and for dandies Rs. 14000 whereas Rs. 3900 has been fixed for a Pack Pony (with 60 kg’s load).

In the meeting, rates for tentage accommodations during Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2018 were also fixed. For locations like Manigam, Baltal, and Holycave/Pajtarni, Rs. 330, 500, and 700 have been fixed respectively for encampment with facility of floor accommodation with Quilt Mattress, blanket and pillow or sleeping bag with one blanket and Pillow per head per night and Rs 450, 650 and 950 fixed respectively for encampment with facility of accommodation with cotton quilt mattress, blanket and pillow or sleeping bag with one blanket and pillow per head per night.
