Srinagar, May 09: An unidentified male body was recovered by the police in a forest area in Gund tehsil of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday.
An official said that the body of a man (aged around 28) was spotted by the locals at Kitholen Rayil in Sindh forest range in Kangan area.
A police party from Gund police station rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
He said the police is ascertaining the identity of the body.
Police have taken cognizance of the case under section 174 RPC and have taken up the investigation.
