POONCH MAY 05: On the concluding day of  three week long Gram Swaraj Abhiyan, JKBRSETI  organized Aajeevika Evam Kaushal Vikas Diwas.

During the programme series of activities including  awareness camps, display of banners were undertaken.

The function coincided with completion of one month training programme on tailoring skills for women and 10 days Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) training imparted to the beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).

Member Legislative Council, Pardeep Sharma, chief guest on the occasion, handed over the participation certificates to the trainees and sanction letters to the PMEGP beneficiaries as part of the credit camp.

Speaking on the occasion, he asked RSETI to organise such programmes frequently for  helping the unemployed youth by imparting skill oriented trainings .

He also  advised the gathering to avail the benefits of all the schemes launched by the Government from time to time to eradicate the poverty and generate self employment.

Speaking on the occasion Director RSETI elaborated the role of institute in providing free skill oriented training to unemployed youths of the district so that they can earn their livelihood.
