Baramulla, May 04: Four days after three children had drowned in Baramulla, body of second boy was fished out from river Jehlum on Friday while search for the third body continues.
The body of Shahid, son of Mohammad Syed Shah of Dewanbagh Baramulla, was recovered by a joint team of SDRF, Navy Marcos and police near a bridge in Baramulla.
Pertinently, the incident occurred on Tuesday evening, when a boat carrying five persons capsized in the Jhelum. While the timely action of locals helped in rescuing two kids, three others drowned. Two bodies have been retrieved from the river so far and search is on for the third body.
The body of Tufail Ahmad Shagoo, son of Abdul Rashid Shagoo of Dewanbagh, was recovered by sand diggers at Sheeri Zoo yesterday.
