Srinagar: Former chief minister and National Conference working president Omar Abdullah on Wednesday condemned the attack on students in Shopian and said that how does pelting stones on school children or tourist buses help the advance the agenda of stone pelters.

Taking to a social networking site Omar wrote “How does pelting stones on school children or tourist buses help advance the agenda of these stone pelters? These attacks deserve our unequivocal condemnation & this tweet is mine.”

Earlier, two minor students were injured after a school bus they were travelling in came under stone pelting at Zavoora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
