Shopian: Soon after militants attacked an Army party at Malikgund area of Shopian District on Sunday afternoon, forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area to nab the attackers.
According to eyewitnesses, panic gripped the whole area following the firing incident.
They said that clashes erupted in shopian and Taranas are being played on loudspeakers of local mosques.
