Baramulla: A cop was injured when he allegedly shot himself with his service rifle at the camp at Babatang Pattan late last night.
Sources said around 11 pm, a Head Constable identified Amrit Singh (belt no. 060403902) of Utter Pradesh, posted with SSB 2nd Battalion Sports(Sp) Coy, allegedly shot himself with his service rifle at Babatang camp.
They said he has been shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
