Seer Sports beat PCC Pattan by 1 wicket

Match 1st

Friday, April 27:  PCC Pattan lost to Seer Sports by 1 wicket in the ongoing ‘Sopore Super League’ played here at Seer Sports Field. Earlier, PCC Pattan opted to bat first after winning the toss and posted a modest total of 209 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in allotted 35 overs. For PCC Pattan, Mohsin (60) and Ayaz (25) remained the top scorers. For Seer Sports Club, Abid bagged 3 wickets while as Farooq Haji picked a wicket as well

In reply Seer Sports chased down the target of 210 runs in 34.5 overs. Afaaq (51) Farooq Haji (41) remained the top scorers. Farooq Haji was declared as man of the match for his all-round performance.

Match 2nd

Rising Star Baramulla pip Shining Star Sopore by 29 runs

In second match of the day played at Noorgah Sports Field, Rising Star Baramulla defeated Shining Star Sopore by 29 runs. Rising Star Baramulla after winning the toss posted 172 runs with Muzzamil (53), Faizan (35)and Rukhsaar (27) remaining the leading scorers. For Shining Star Sopore, Ovais bowled with accuracy and ended with wrapping up 4 wickets while as Zeeshan picked a couple of wickets as well.

In reply,Shining Star Sopore were bundled out for 143 runs with Mudasir (36) and Muzzafar playing cameos of 36 and 32 runs. Umar and Abid picked 2 wickets each for Rising Star Baramulla. Muzzamil of Shining Star Baramulla was adjudged as man of the match.

Match 3rd

Eleven Brothers defeat Ashraaf Cricket Club Sopore

In third match of the day played at Amberpora ground, Eleven Brothers emerged as victorious as they thrashed Ashraaf Cricket Club Sopore. Earlier, Ashraaf Cricket Club Soporeelected to bat first and were bundled out for mere 122 runs in 21 overs with Parvaiz (43*) remaining the high scorer. In reply, Eleven Brothers chased the target swiftly in 20 overs only. Tariq scored 39 while as Imran Haroonwas declared as man of the match. Imran Haroon picked up 3 wickets and scored 19 runs as well.
