‘Kashmir student arrested by Delhi police in Punjab’

Srinagar, April 27 : The Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday said that the Kashmiri student from Kulgam district has been traced as he was arrested by Delhi’s cyber cell police for his involvement in “hacking case”.

“The boy has been arrested by Delhi Cyber cell and is presently in their custody. The family has been informed by police about it,”  Deputy Inspector General of Police for south Kashmir Range Amit Kumar told GNS.

SSP Kulgam Harmeet Singh said that the student was located by JK police and it has come to fore that he has been arrested in connection with some hacking case.

The student Adil Hussain Teeli was according to his colleagues abducted by as many as eight armed men who were in civvies from Muthi Basti Jalandhar, Punjab today morning.

Adil, a resident of Noonmai, Yaripora, Kulgam, is pursuing BCA (6th semester) and is appearing for exams scheduled from May 2.
