Blue Star Sonawari beat Wonder Boys Safapora by 2 wickets

Sopore, Thursday 26: In the ongoing ‘Wular Premier League’, Wonder Boys Safapora opted to bat first after winning the toss and lost 4 crucial wickets in the first 6 overs of the match. Ishfaq and Shahid then cemented a decent partnership of 61 runs as Ishfaq played vital knock of 55 runs. Adil also contributed with 46 runs as Wonder Boys set a target of 154 on board. For Blue Star Sonawari, Afaq, Mansoor and Rafi picked 2 wickets each.

It was the arrival of Riyaz Ahmed on crease as he took Blue Star Sonawari to wining line contributing with match-winning knock of 68 runs. Nadeem also added valuable 31 runs. Riyaz was declared as man of the match while as for Wonder Boys Safapora, Aijaz, Shahid and Nasir picked 2 wickets each.
