Tangmarg: An annual road race was held in Tangmarg area of Baramulla district on Thursday in which around 300 students including girls from various schools of the area participated. The road race was was conducted by Youth Services and sports Kashmir. The students were divided into three groups Primary ,Middle and Seconday department. The certificates and trophies were distributed among the winners by Sub Divisional Magistrate Tangmarg Mr.Ab Aziz. On the occasion ZPO of Tangmarg Mr Arif ,Sidiq Shariq and other PETs and

The groups were further bifurcated into girls and boys. The race for primary department students started from Dak Bangalow Tangmarg to Chandilora wherein among girls Rifat Nabi of G.MS Treran secured 1st position,Shabnum Gani of Owasiya Middle School Badipora secured 2nd position,Heena shafi of Ali Public School Wahipora secured 3rd position. Among boys of primary department Zakir Ahmad of Army goodwill school Ziran got 1st position followed by Zahid Shah securing 2nd position of Army goodwill school and Talha Ahmad of Ali Public School got 3rd position.

In Middle department in girls group Shazia Farooq of Army Goodwill secured 1st position,Ozaira Bashir of Care institute of Education secured 2nd position and iqra Organ of Owasiya Middle School Badipora secured 3rd position. While as among boys Abid Ah Khan of MS Treran secured 1st position,Tehmil Nazir of Army goodwill school secured 2nd nation and Azad Ahmad of Gousia model school Kulhama secured the 3rd position.

In Secondary department among girls Mehrin Parvez of H.S Katipora secured 1st position,Iqra Jan of HS Hard Madam secured 2nd position,and Ruhi Jan of HS Katipora secured 3rd position. While as among boys Ishfaq Ahmad Dar of HS Warpora secured 1st position, Ishfaq Rashid of Army Goodwill school secured 2nd position and Saqib Gain Bhat of Army goodwill school Ziran secured 3rd position.
