Wathoora Cricket Club beats MCC Sopore by 6 wickets

Wednesday, April 25: Wathoora Cricket Club (WCC) thrashed MCC Sopore by 6 wickets in the ongoing ‘Sopore Super League’ played at Seer cricket ground. MCC Sopore after winning the toss posted a decent target of 208 runs in allotted 35 overs while losing 7 wickets. Aijaz scored 73 runs off 63 balls. For WCC, Aijaz, Riyaz and Amir picked 2 wickets each.

In reply, Wathoora Cricket Club chased the target of 209 runs and won the match by 6 wickets. Afnan (61) and Muzamil (44) played key knocks for WCC while as Sarfaraz picked up 2 wickets for MCC Sopore. Afnan was declared as man of the match for his match winning knock of 61 runs.
