Tangmarg Victorious whips Legends Cricket Club by 6 wickets

Sopore April 25: In the ongoing ‘Wular Premier League’, first match of the day was played between Legends Cricket Club and Tangmarg Victorious. Earlier, Legends Cricket Club Zaingeer (LCC), opted to bat first after winning the toss. LCC lost a couple of wickets in the starting overs and none of the batsmen could show resistance at the crease until Fayaz came into bat. Fayaz single-handedly took the responsibility as he scored 83* runs for LCC Zaingeer and helped the team to set a target of 145 runs. For Tangmarg Victorious, Ashraf and Yaseen bagged 2 wickets each.

In reply Tangmarg Victorious chased the target with ease and won the match by 6 wickets. Ashraf and Ishfaq played unbeaten knocks of 47 and 37. For LCC Zaingeer, Murtaza, Umar, Aamir and Parvaiz picked a wicket each. Ashraf was adjudged as man of the match for his all-round performance.
