Concentrate on studies, co-curricular activities: DDC to students

BANDIPORA, APRIL 25: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Bandipora, Khursheed Ahmad Sanai today urged upon the students to concentrate on their studies and other co-curriculum activities and earn laurels for themselves and for the nation.

The DDC expressed these views at a function organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (YSS) here.

He said that the district Bandipora has a tremendous potential in the sports field and advised the youth to take interest in studies and sports activities. The DDC assured that the district administration will always be on the forefront to facilitate the YSS in its activities.

Earlier, the YSS had organized a seven km race, where around 200 students belonging to Sumbal, Hajin, Bandipora and Quill Muqam educational zones participated. The race started from Arin and culminated at Mini Secretariat Ground.

Later, the DDC gave away the awards among the winners.
