The cabinet had also decided to implement the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission report in the State retrospectively from 2016.

The officers’ delegation also thanked the Chief Minister for extending the benefits of pay revision to its employees.

These decisions, the delegation informed the Chief Minister, would further induce motivation and dedication among the officers besides ending stagnation among various cadres. They termed the decision as historic while assuring the Chief Minister of continued support in administering efficient governance in the State.
