DDC Kupwara reviews status of CM’s commitments

KUPWARA, APRIL 24: District Development Commissioner Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today convened a meeting to review the status of directions passed by the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for the district during her public outreach programme.

The meeting also took stock of preparations for upcoming District Development Board meeting.

The DDC directed the concerned to prepare plans judiciously and complete all the works and projects strictly within the set deadlines.

While reviewing the status of CM’s commitments, the DDC emphasized upon all the concerned to prioritize all the directions made, so that benefits accrue to the people as desired by the CM. He also sought action taken reports of the works undertaken.

He suggested all the departments to include pending CM’s commitments in the proposals for district plan after consultations and approval of the concerned lawmakers.

The DDC said that cooperation and coordination among the line departments is a must for better delivery of services to the people.
