 JAMMU, APRIL 24: Chief Secretary, B.B.Vyas, on Tuesday chaired a meeting to review implementation of Non-Aadhaar Based Bio-metric Attendance, WFTS, RTI compliance of websites and online filling of Annual Performance Reports.

Administrative Secretaries, Home, GAD and IT, besides other officers from concerned departments participated in the meeting.

Taking account of the RTI compliance of websites of various state departments’, the Chief Secretary directed the administrative secretaries to ensure that the works regarding this are completed immediately, failing which, disciplinary action will be taken against the nodal officers for those departments. He also directed the departments to update the web based file tracking system.

Regarding the non Aadhaar based Biometric attendance, the Chief Secretary directed the departments to ensure compliance on instructions in this regard and make sure Bio-metric attendances for employees are marked regularly. Failing to adhere to this will result in withholding salaries for those employees.

Besides, the meeting also reviewed the implementation of Public Financial Management System (PFMS) and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme with the concerned officers.

Later, the Chief Secretary chaired a meeting of Empowered Committee regarding approval of medical reimbursement cases of Kashmiri migrants.

Taking cognizance of each case presented before the Committee for approval, the Chief Secretary directed for necessary action for eligible cases under the ambit of prescribed rules.
