SRINAGAR, APRIL 21: Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Abdul Haq along with noted writer and poet Prof. Rehman Rahi today released Dr Aziz Hajini’s two books titled ‘Asi Chi Puran Hamsayan tal’ and ‘Me and My Animal’.

MLA Langate Er Rasheed, Chairman State Accountability Commission Justice (Retd) Bashir Khan, Vice Chancellor Central University Prof Mehraj-ud-din, CEO ERA Farooq A Lone, DC Srinagar Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Director Tourism Mehmood Shah besides poets, writers and other concerned were present on the occasion.

Abdul Haq, who was Chief Guest on the occasion, praised the composition of Hajini’s books and termed the couplets that were read on the occasion are full of emotional and intellectual contributions.

Prof. Rehman Rahi, who presided over the function, threw light on the poetry penned down by Dr Hajini in his books said that his poetry is full of layers and touches every shade of life.

On the occasion, the book review of ‘Asi Chi Puran Hamsayan tal’ was presented by renowned poet Satish Vimal and of ‘Me and My Animal’ was presented by Dr Abid Ahmed.

The book release function was organized by Adbee Markaz Kamraz in collaboration with Radio Kashmir Srinagar and Directorate of Information.

On the occasion, President Adbee Markaz Kamraz, Farooq Rafiabadi delivered the welcome address.

Thanking the audience, Dr Hajini said the books are dearer to authors than their children as it keeps their name shining even decades after their death.
