Srinagar, April 20: Police on Friday said it has recovered two minor girls who had allegedly been kidnapped.
Giving details, a police spokesman said acting on a complaint from the parents of a minor girl about her abduction, Police Station Nowgam acted recovered her from the possession of the kidnapper, who was arrested. The girl was handed over to her parents.
Spokesman said Police Station Maisuma also recovered a minor girl from Chenani Udhampur from the possession of her kidnapper. The girl was handed over to her parents while the kidnapper was arrested.
Cases have been registered in both these incidents and further investigations are on, spokesman said.
