Ganderbal Apr 18: Student protests continued for the second consecutive day in Ganderbal today.
According to the reports, hundreds of college students boycotted their classes and protested against the killers of Kuthua rape victim.
Eyewitnesses said that students raised slogans against Bar Associations Kathua and Hindu Ekta Manch Jammu.
As the students blocked Duderhuma-Shalibugh road, the police swung into action and tried to disperse the protesters resulting into intense clashes.
Speaking to Kashmir Images SHO Ganderbal said: “The protesters pelted stones on forces and they also vandalized public property. We have arrested some students who were involved in the riot.”
