Student protests: 3 girl students faint in Budgam; hospitalised

Student protests: 3 girl students faint in Budgam; hospitalised

Budgam: Three girl students fainted during clashes between students and government forces here in the township on Wednesday.

Eyewitness told Kashmir Images that the three students were shifted to Aga Syed Yousuf Memorial District Hospital for the treatment after they fainted during the clashes in the Budgam town.

Hospital sources said that the students had inhaled smoke of tear gas canisters that were fired by government forces.

Earlier, girl students led a protest march from Girls Higher Secondary School Budgam.
