Director FCS&CA for 100% home delivery of LPG

JAMMU APRIL 17: In order to regulate the supply of LPG in Jammu District, a meeting was convened by Director, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department Jammu, R.A. Inqlabi, here today.

Besides the officers of the department of FCS&CA Jammu and Legal Metrology Department Jammu, the meeting was attended by the representatives of Oil Marketing Companies and Distributors of LPG in Jammu Division.

In the meeting, it was impressed upon the distributors to ensure 100% home delivery against proper cash memo in urban areas and a smooth and hassle-free supply of LPG in rural area. It was further directed in the meeting that no point of sale distribution shall be allowed in the Jammu city.

Various other issues like requirement of documents as proof in issuance of LPG connection viz. ration cards, caste certificates and Aadhaar Cards etc were also raised in the meeting by the distributors and accordingly the distributors to submit the list of such cases so that the same be forward to the concerned revenue authority for further action. R.A. Inqlabi advised the LPG Distributors to function as per rules/norms without any lapse.

Further, it was also proposed in the meeting that the Oil Marketing Companies shall link their digital information portal with the official website of the Department of FCS&CA for an easy access to the LPG related information of the Jammu division.
