Army organizes 15 day dental camp for the border villages of Uri

Srinagar, 16 Apr 2018:  The Army in association with ASEEM Foundation organized a 15 day Dental Camp for the border area villages of Uri wherein an Ahmadabad based dentist, Dr Prathibha Athalave, with 33 years of experience in the field of dental surgery, is attending to the patients.

The Indian Army in a statement said that: In the first phase, the Camp was conducted at village Gohalan in which more than 200 patients were treated. During the second phase held at Kamalkot from 10-12 April, another 200 patients availed the benefits of the Camp. Tooth extraction, scaling and minor surgeries were performed by Dr Pratibha. The Dental Camp will continue at different locations in and around Uri.

“The camp is benefiting villagers of the far flung border areas. The Sarpanchs and the locals have appreciated the efforts of the Army and Dr Prathibha for the dedicated services to the Awaam of Uri,” said the Army statement.
