35 passengers injured in two road mishaps in Uri
Baramulla: At least thirty five people were injured in two separate road mishaps in frontier Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday
An official said that a government bus bearing registration number Jk01Y 0421 was travelling from Gwalta to Uri, and met with an accident at TRC Slamabad, resulting in injuries of 32 passengers in which 28 have been shifted to SHD Uri and other four have been referred to district hospital Baramulla.
The four injured passengers shifted to district Hospital Baramulla has been identified as three brothers Nasir Ahmed, Yasir Ahmed, Imran Ahmed, residents of Gwalta Uri.
Meanwhile, three passengers were injured in another road mishap after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at Shahdara Jabda Kamalkote, in Uri town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Sources said that a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05d 1716 skidded off the road resulting in injuries of three passengers.
The injured passengers were identified as brothers Jahangir Ahmed, Zubair Ahmed and Pervaiz Ahmed, sons of Late Nayamutulla, residents of Kundi Barjala.
However, the trio were referred to SDH Uri for the treatment and are said to be stable.
