Nisar’s ton helped Wathoora to defeat Sopore Cricket Club

Sopore : In the ongoing Wular Premier League being played at Sheikhul Alam Sports Ground Tarzoo Sopore, RPCC Wathoora today defeated Sopore Cricket Academy by 117 runs.

Sopore cricket Academy won the toss and decided to bowl first, the highlight of the Day was Omer Nisar’s ton (119 of 54 balls). Whereas Sahil Shafi 42 and Owais Shah scored 34 runs and set the huge target of 219 runs, Omar scored the first century of the tournament.

For sopore Cricket academy, Omer took and Irshad took 2 wickets each. Young Batsman of RPCC Wathoora Omar Nisar scored a splendid century to win accolades and adulation from the local fans.

The stylish right-handed batsman played the strokes all around the park and in reply Sopore Cricket Academy showed a dismal performance and the entire team was bundled out for 103 runs Iamul haq scored 29 runs.
Star Performer of the day Omer Nisar was declared Man Of the Match for his ton.
