An Army porter dies at LOC in Uri
Baramulla : An Army porter was killed in alleged cross LoC firing in frontier Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Police said that an Army porter identified as Khursheed Ahmad son of Mohammad Shareif of Nawaranda , age 37 yrs , who was working as Porter with army 4 madras unit , got a bullet injury in neck and some grenade splinters in both legs near chaukas area and died on spot.
SSP Baramulla Mir Imtiyaz Hussain said that the said person has died in ceasefire violation by Pakistan army.
Police party from police post Audoosa has been deputed to spot for further necessary action. Further details will follow.
