Drabu’s speech cost him dearly: Omar
FacebookTwitterWhatsapp

Srinagar, Apr 14: Opposition leader Omar Abdullah on Saturday chided BJP national secretary Ram Madhav’s assertion that there was “no threat” to PDP-BJP coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir following the resignation of two BJP ministers.

Reiterating Tourism minister Tasaduq Mufti’s statement in which he had said “they (PDP) are partners in crime with BJP and Kashmiris are paying with their blood”, Omar said: “why should there be a threat” to the coalition.

Taking to social networking website Twitter, Omar said: “Why should there be a threat? As Tassaduq Mufti said, you are both ‘partners in crime & Kashmiris are paying for this with their blood’ so while you share the spoils of your crimes the people bleed.”

In another tweet aimed at the PDP, Omar said: “You should worry more about the blood Kashmiris are shedding because of the “partnership of crime” between you & BJP. Let us worry about how long the letter will take to travel from Srinagar to Kathua. #Criminals”.

This was in response to a tweet by the PDP that “Shanti Swaroop, NC’s Hiranagar block president, claimed that the party was yet to inform him about the expulsion @OmarAbdullah”.
