Killing of innocent civilians highly condemnable: Wani

Srinagar: In a statement President EJAC Abdul Qayom Wani condemned the innocent civilian killings during search operation by security forces in Kulgam.

Wani said that civilian killings can never be justified and people involved in the killings should be dealt under law so that such incidents may not occur in future.

Wani demanded an immediate independent judicial probe into the incident to punish the culprits and expressed solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved families and the injured ones.

Wani also said that playing politics on Kathua rape and murder case by Bar Association Jammu is highly shameful act and demanded condemnation from every corner irrespective of caste, creed, colour, region and religion.
