Peace prerequisite for development: Ansari

BANDIPORA, APRIL 08: Minister for Youth Services & Sports, IT and Technical Education, Imran Raza Ansari Sunday said that there is no substitute for the peace and it is a prerequisite for development and prosperity.

The Minister said this during his visit to Shadipora-Sumbal in district Bandipora.

Imran Ansari, who is also President of All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association, addressing a gathering here at Markazi Imambara Shadipora, said that there is no substitute for peace. He said it is prerequisite for the overall development of the society.

Urging youth to maintain peace, the Minister said, peace, harmony and brotherhood are the main pillars on which a strong society is being built. He said it is only with peace that better results in development works could be achieved.

The Minister reiterated that present Government is committed to resolve all the developmental issues of the State.

Later the Minister also visited Islamic College Jamia Imam Sadiq, Shadipora and interacted with the staff and people there.

On the occasion, various public deputations called on the Minister and projected their demands. The Minister gave them a patient hearing and assured them of every possible help.

The Minister was accompanied by District Development Commissioner Bandipora Khursheed Ahmad Sanai and others concerned Officers.
