ADC Baramulla inaugurates KPL T20 cricket tournament

BARAMULLA, MARCH 8: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Baramulla Farooq Ahmad Baba today inaugurated a T-20 cricket tournament Kunzer Premier League (KPL) here at Cricket Stadium Kunzer.

64 cricket teams across Kashmir valley are going to participate in the month-long event

Speaking on the occasion, the ADC highlighted the significance of sports activities in maintaining the overall well being.

He said such events prove very beneficial in exploring the latent potential of youth. The ADC said that the valley is bestowed with huge capabilities and there is a dire need to provide a platform for its utilization.

Terming sports activities the best method of relieving youth from all ill and hazardous practices including drug addiction, the ADC assured that District administration will take every possible initiative to develop the sports infrastructure in the district.

Officers from various departments, a large gathering of spectators, prominent citizens and various other concerned were present on the occasion.
