Srinagar: Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G.N. Itoo today said that honest and dedicated employees should be given more respect after superannuation in their concerned offices because they act as role models for their sub-ordinate employees.

Director School Education Kashmir said this during a farewell function for Ex- Chief Education Srinagar Farooq Ahmad Dar and Section Officer Khurshid Ahmad organized in Directorate of School Education Kashmir.

He said that a retiring employee is remembered by his hard work and the attitude towards his fellow and sub-ordinate colleagues. He said that the Ex- CEO Srinagar Farooq Ahmad Dar is a very humble and friendly person which I came to know in last one year when I was in constant and close contact with him. Expressing his good wishes for the retiring Sectional Officer Khurshid Ahmad, he said that his service tenure in the Directorate is worth appreciation.

On the occasion Ex-CEO Srinagar Farooq Ahmad Dar while expressing his views said that this moment is both a happy and a sad moment for him. “I am happy because I was able to perform my duties well and I am sad because I am physically parting from my colleagues. Former Section Officer Khurshid Ahmad in his emotional address thanked the department for the love and affection they have shown for him.

Joint Directors Abid Hussain, H R Pakhru, Suraya Bano and Suraya Akhter, Chief Accounts Officer Irfan ul Haq, Deputy Director Planning Muhammad Yousuf Rather, Assistant Director Planning Muhammad Ishaaq, OSD Mir Sanaullah, Media Coordinator Education Fayyaz Ahmad Fayyaz and all the staff of the Directorate was present on the occasion.
