RAMBAN APRIL 07: Director Rural Development Department (RDD), Ravinder Kumar Bhat convened a meeting to review the progress of schemes like MGNREGA, PMAY, SBM, convergence plan being implemented by RDD in the district, here today.
ACD, G.H Kraipak, DPO Tariq Suhrawardy, Executive Engineer REW Dileep Tikoo, BDOs, VLWs and GRSs of the District attended the meeting.
Director reviewed block and panchayat wise performance under PMAY and set the timelines for completion of all pending works besides directions to the concerned to expedite the pace of developmental works so that fixed targets are achieved. He also took stock of physical and financial achievements under schemes of SBM and MGNREGA.
During the meeting, DPO Ramban briefed about the progress of the SBM. Detailed discussions were held on various issues like MIS and Geo Tagging under SBM, ODF of panchayats, status of the construction of IHHL units and achievements made under SBM in the district.
The director also asked all the BDOs to ensure that works being executed on ground conform to quality and quantity parameters.
