Meeting of Governing Board of JKBOSE held in Jammu

Srinagar:         The Governing Board meeting of JKBOSE was today held in Jammu during which Secretary Education Farooq Ahmad Shah and Chairperson JKBOSE Veena Pandita in presence of Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G.N. Itoo and other officers of the department reviewed the administrative and academic matters of the Board of School Education.

The members expressed happiness on the constitution of the Governing Board by the personal efforts of Minister for Education Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari and Secretary Education Farooq Ahmad Shah due to which the functioning of the BOSE can be made more effective.

It is pertinent to mention here that as per the directions of the higher ups of the Department, the Governing Board was constituted after a gap of 5 years.

Expressing satisfaction on the overall functioning of the Board, the members put forth many suggestions to make the Board more effective in accordance with modern aspirations.

During the meeting Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G.N. Itoo also appraised the members about the various steps being taken by the Board.

Director Academics Dr. Farooq Ahmad Peer and President Private School Association G. N. War made certain suggestions. The meeting was also attended by the members from the Kashmir and Jammu Universities and many other officers of the Department.
