Sopore, April 6: BCC Reds thrashed Kandi-XI in a one sided match here at Sheikh-ul-Alam sports ground Tarzoo Sopore. In the first match of the day, Kandi Eleven won the toss and opted to bat first. The decision proved to be futile as none of the batsmen from Kandi-XI could manage to reach double figures. Aqib and Mehraj of BCC Reds picked up 2 wickets each.
In reply, BCC Reds achieved the miniature target of 66 runs without losing any of its batsmen. Sajid and Aqib played quick knocks of 34 and 30 runs and accomplished the target 4th over of the match. Aqib was declared as man of the match for his splendid match winning all-round performance.
