Srinagar, April, 05: A Police today organized a public interaction meeting under Civic Action Programme at Nehru Park which was attended by number of respectable citizens of the area.
A police spokesman in a statement issued here said that the meeting was chaired by SP City East Dawood Ayoub and SDPO Nehru Park Sadanshu Verma. In-charge police post Nehru park Sameer Ahmad too was present on the occasion.
The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like eradicating drug menace, drug addiction & some issues related to civil administration including issues related to tourism, said the statement.
Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SP City East and SDPO Nehu park assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time and the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority.
The officers also sought cooperation of participants so that the peaceful atmosphere is maintained in the area.
