Kupwara admin sets up monitoring units to achieve ODF target

KUPWARA, APRIL 5: Assistant Commissioner Development Kupwara today kick started Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) drive along with the officers of different departments.

On the occasion ACD said that the aim of SBM is to achieve clean and open defecation free district.

He further said that the innovative motivational monitoring units has been put in place and by adopting the mission ‘Swacchta he Seva Hai’. He urged all the departments to participate with enthusiasm and dedication to achieve ODF target.

A joint team comprising officials of RDD, Revenue and their field functionaries including Lumberdars/Chowkidars, BMO’s, ASHA workers, officials of ICDS, CDPO Work supervisors, Anganwadi workers and NRLM SHGs started Swachhta trekking in district to achieve the ODF status and cleanliness in the district.
