MLA Batamalo Noor Mohammad while addressing people on the occasion emphasised upon the dire need of strengthening the party at the grass roots and making masses aware about the pro-people measures being taken by the PDP led government in the state at present. He said that the employment opportunities for the youth of the state are being given the top priority and addressing peoples’ woes without delay has remained the core focus of the government at present.

MLA Batamalo said the core idea of governance of the present regime is to make the basic facilities available to the people without any hurdles and construction of new roads, health care facilities; undisrupted power supplies are few achievements by virtue of which the common masses have begin sensing change on ground.

The convention was also addressed by Dr Ali Mohammad, senior PDP leader and Vice Chairman Handicrafts Development Corporation who said the remarkable achievement of the present government is that it strengthened the system which would remain incorruptible and considerate towards the woes of the common masses of Kashmir in the coming time.  He said unlike the previous regimes who used to consider Kashmir nothing except their very own enterprise, the present government has been successful in making the governance transparent and effective on ground. He added that the administration has been made available for the people round the clock and the pace through which new initiatives for the betterment of the people are being taken is historic and worth to hail.

Other party leaders and members present on the occasion included State Secretary Ab Hameed Kosheen, Mohd Shafi Kundangar  and several others.
