RAJOURI APRIL 01: Four officials of Health Sub-Centre Sankari in Medical Block Kandi were placed under suspension after the sub-centre was found locked at 12.30 PM.
Acting swiftly on reports reflected in social media and telephonic complaints made by the public, Block Medical Officer Kandi, Dr Iqbal Malik visited the sub-centre and found it locked at 12.30 PM where females were waiting for the staff members to vaccinate their children. BMO was informed by the public that absenteeism has become a routine in Sub-centre and patients are made to suffer at the hands of staff.
Taking cognizance of the matter the BMO ordered immediate suspension of all staff members including 1 junior pharmacist, 2 FMPHW and 1 Safai Wala and were attached with BMO Office pending inquiry. Meanwhile one junior pharmacist from Sub-centre Soragala was deputed to look after the functioning of sub-centre Sankari.
