Speaking on the occasion, Parvez Ahmed said, “One phrase which strikes my mind as I talk about Arvindji is exemplified excellence and positive demeanor. His career plan is full of remarkable achievements in all the roles and responsibilities he has undertaken. An officer high on integrity and honesty; he has been a gentleman banker who has always let his work talk for him.”

He further said: “This day has come after Arvind Ji’s 36 years of dedicated service in the Bank. Bangalore, Delhi, whole Jammu and Udhampur have seen young Arvind and the most mature part has been witnessed at Srinagar. A man from and for operations has worn all operational hats from beginner to passing officer to Branch Head and finally to the Zonal Head.”

“He has been an asset to the team and this organisation every single day and brought a unique leadership style for which he will be remembered always. I wish him all the Best in his long life from now on”, he added.

Chairman wished Peace, progress, prosperity and healthy long life post retirement to Mr. Arvind and all those officers who retired from the services of the Bank today and in the recent past.

”I feel both, very sad and honored at this moment. Sad to leave this great organization and part Company of some of the best people I happened to be with; and honoured to be part of the same organization for all these years”, said Arvind Gupta on the occasion.

“I will cherish all the years I have served here for the rest of my life. I thank all of you for your kind support and love”, he added.

Arvind Gupta joined J&K Bank as Probationary Officer in 1982. During his tenure, he headed various departments including Banking Operations and Business Support Division.
