Anantnag. April 1: One civilian died and dozens others injured some of them critically during clashes with government forces in parts of South Kashmir on Sunday.
A youth who was identified as Zubair Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Ahad Bhat, a resident of Gopalpora DH Pora in neighbouring Kulgam district suffered injuries near the encounter site at Kachdora.
Zubair according to sources succumbed to his injuries in the hospital later.
Atleast sixty person’s were reported injured during clashes with goverment forces in Shopian and Dialgam encounters.
Twenty injured have been referred to Srinagar for specialized treatement, the condition of few among them is stated to be critical.
