   Irfan’s All-round performance helped PCC Pattan to defeat Safapora

Sopore : In today’s first match of Wular Primer League played here at Sheikhul Alam Sports Ground Tarzoo Sopore, PCC Pattan registered a consolation win against Blue Star Safapora. After winning the toss PCC Pattan opted to bat first and scored 161 in allotted 20 overs with Irfan being the top scorer with 66 runs.

For Blue star Omer took 3 wickets and Adil 2.  Blue Star Safapora lost the wickets in quick successions with 47 runs Waseem was the top scorer for them.

For PCC Pattan Captain Mudasir took 5 wickets and Irfan 3. Irfan was declared Man of the Match for his all-round performance. Chadoora registered an easy win.

2nd match of the day was played between Sopore Academy and Chadoorq. After winning the toss Sopore Academy opted to bat first at Sheikhul Alam Sports Ground Tarzoo Sopore. SCC Sopore Scored only 126 runs in the allotted 20 overs as the wickets fell like a pack of cards only Fasil managed to score 30 runs

For Sultan Cricket Club Zubair took 3 wickets while as Sajad and Mudasir took 1 wicket each. Chadoora achieved the set target of 127 with the loss of 5 Wickets.

Gulzar played the scored 54 and Mudasir contributed with 21 runs. Gulzar was declared Man of the Match for scoring a half century which helped his team to achieve the set target.
