Real Kashmir FC beat Lone star Kashmir FC

Srinagar: Real Kashmir Football Club continued their unbeaten run in I league second division by beating Lone star Kashmir by two goals to one in a thrilling encounter in TRC synthetic turf here.

Lone star Kashmir FC dominated the opening minutes of the game. Aqib of LSKFC came very close in early minutes but he was denied by goal keeper with a stretching save.

Deadlock was broken in 35th minute as Danish found the net for RKFC and earned much needed lead. Aaqib cut short celebrations of RKFC as he equalized the score. He beautifully guided the ball pass goal keeper, giving him no chance. First Half ended with 1-1 score line .

Real Kashmir FC again gained lead courtesy beautiful header by Atinder Mani. RKFC started to play defensive, in the run Lone Star Kashmir FC came very close to equalizer but Aqib’s shot on target was saved by goalkeeper.

Real Kashmir FC continued their defensive play till the end and denied Lone Star KFC equalizer. Match ended with score line of 2-1 in favor of Real Kashmir FC.

With this win Real Kashmir FC earned 7 points in 3 match while as Lone Star Kashmir FC only managed to earn 1 point in as many matches.

In the group stage Real Kashmir FC and Lonestar Kashmir FC have been grouped with Delhi Dynomos, Pune city FC reserves, Hindustan FC and Delhi United.

Winners and best two runners up teams will advance to next stage of I league. So for Real Kashmir FC have strength their position in the group with 7 points while as Lone Star Kashmir FC continued their poor form.
