Srinagar: Raihana Maqbool received the journalist of the month from International Journalist Network (IJN).
Maqbool holds a bachelors degree in journalism and multimedia production and also a masters degree in journalism and mass communication.
Raihana is currently working as a regular contributor for Global Press Journal and earlier she has worked with a number of media organizations including Kashmir Images, the Better India, Radio Kashmir and the Hindustan Times.
She covers a wide range of topics that include education, sports, health, conflict, and women and gender.
