She stressed upon the shopkeepers and vendors not to use polythene and whosoever use it shall be dealt as per law. She urged upon the concerned officials to form a joint squad and keep a constant vigil on the use of polythene in the market and wherever found should be seized then. She also asked the concerned departments to work in synergy so that Ganderbal becomes polythene free tehsil. The team further directed the vendors not to put their commodities on roads and footpaths. All were warned to desist in future from doing such illegal activities.
The team urged upon the public to park their vehicles/bikes at parking slots and do not park on roadsides. The team took strict action against the traffic violators and a number of vehicles were seized. General public appreciated the move taken by Tehsildar and SHO and appealed the team to take strict action against the violators. The team appealed public to cooperate with us by following traffic rules and park their vehicles in designated places only.
