Railway Reservation Counter set up at High Court

JAMMU, MARCH 19: Living true to its motto “Serving the people” Railways today setup a Railway Reservation Counter in the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir at Jammu.

The counter was inaugurated by Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar Acting Chief Justice in presence of  Justice Alok Aradhe, Justice Tashi Rabstan, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal and Justice Sanjeev Kumar.

The Railway Reservation Counter is equipped with computers for the staff. On this occasion a token ticket was also generated online and presented to the Acting Chief Justice. The counter will facilitate the online booking of railway tickets and will cater to the needs of the lawyers, staff of the High Court and also the litigants Registrar General.

Registrar General Sanjay Dhar, and other officers of the Registry, staff of the High Court besides members of the Bar were also present on the occasion. Lawyers and the staff of the High Court hailed the move of the Railways and thanked the Acting Chief Justice for having pursued the matter of opening of the counter with the railway authorities.
