It is pertinent to mention that after Kashmir Images carried a report “Salary of BMO Budgam employees vanishes in thin air”, the Director Health Services Kashmir ordered a probe.

The DHSK inspection team on March 15 visited the BMO Budgam and seized the office records.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the Senior Assistant had fraudulently transferred more than Rs 50 lakh into different accounts in Baramulla district.

Meanwhile, employees alleged that the accused in connivance with BMO committed the fraud, as without the signature of drawing and disbursing officer, money could not be withdrawn.
